Who care? Not me. I'm not the "wave police" and none of us signed a contract that we have to be on the watch for another Corvette and wave. Maybe they don't see you or don't want to participate in the activities. Is your ego that fragile that you think they are azzholes if they either didn't see you or care about waving? Mine isn't.
The other day I saw a C8 and the guy did not even wave to me... I think that says it all basically.
I wonder how many other vette owners thought that about me in my C7. The window tint is so dark you cannot see inside, but I did wave. In this C8 there is so much eye candy that I may not see any other vehicles on the road. That is what my copilot is for. I am trying to train her to give a proper Corvette wave. I will always wave when I see another, even when I am C8.

LOL. “So much eye candy”…they are very cool cars! Enjoy your new ride!
So I have already 'upgraded' to a 2023 Elhart Blue Metallic LT3 with 3,000 miles WOWIE. Get to take it home tomorrow, assuming the service department can get the MIL lite extinguished. Either way, I think I am taking it home. The dealer just leaves it out in the cold, how disrespectful can you be.

OK. You didn't mention it, did you? Is there a warranty? I'd have to pass on it.
You seriously expect them to shelter every used car car indoors?

Yes there is a warranty. I have also purchased an extended 84 mo warranty through GM. Most of the other dealers had them in them inside. It's OK it will be in a climate controlled home soon.
There was an irreconcilable disagreement with that deal and the yellow car. Even with that those guys are great at that dealership. I really needed to get this done before the market takes a dump.

So the yellow fell through and you got blue? Lol. I’m confused. But it’s cool either way!

You see for me color is not that important, except I am not a black car person, maybe a couple of others. It is what is on the inside and the quality of the ride that matters most to me. I will never order a brand new car and I am limited in my own 'policy' with the stock that is available locally. There weren't many choices with the options that I wanted. Artic white would have been the first choice, sadly there were none.
It's a very nice color, and my neighbors may think so too.

OP - Now that you joined the C8 crowd, please give us your thoughts (performance, interior room, tech, etc.) on the C8 and C7. If you had to daily drive one, which one would you go with and why? Thanks and enjoy your Vettes.

Well, I am very pleased so far, although still sorting it out. There is a bit of a problem with the interior storage, (as duly warned before, not enough) trying to come up with a solution. The interior is a dream for me. I like the digital display and the bigger the better. I spent so much money when I was younger to try to get to as close to a digital display as I could. They must have been reading my mind. The switch setup is easy and intuitive. The seats fit Michele and me perfectly. Even the Bose 14 speaker premium audio sounds friggin great. I have only driven it for a couple of hundred miles. I am very pleased with the mag-ride even with the run-flats. It handles the Hummer proving ground roads around here nicely. It is quieter than the C7. I need to do some switching around and get it on the lift and have a better look at things. Recreational driving only and I will be sticking with the C8.
