battery part numbers
hi guys does any one know what the delco battery replacement part number is 88866271 -amazon says not for my car etc or if you are using a different brand please share with me thx

That battery will certainly work. The important specs are physical size - Group 48 / DIN H6. OEM battery is 660 CCA, this one is 730 amps.

But - nothing special about batteries for a Vette - the same battery was in my Acadia. Just buy Group 48, 700+ CCA, your choice of conventional wet cell or AGM construction.
I installed a Duracell Group 48 AGM 760 CCA about 3 years ago and have had zero issues. I keep the car on a battery maintainer if I expect the car to sit idle more than a week or so. The Wal-Mart Everstart AGM batteries also have good reviews.
