Default Splitter ID

Can anyone identify which stage this splitter is on my 2019 stingray? Thank you for any help.

It's going to be tough to ID just looking at it from the top as lots of aftermarket companies make copies of the factory splitter. Better to look on the bottom for a part number if it's a GM part.

I didn’t see any part numbers on it. So you know what usually comes on the base stingray? i will see if I can get a better picture. Looking on eBay the 1 seems to be a different shape than this one. Wondering if it’s a 2. Also does my one know if the 2 has mounting holes in the right place?

That is definitely not a stage 1 (poverty) splitter. It looks like a stage 2 at a minimum.

Remember, a base Stingray did not come with a front splitter. It wasn’t an option.

Later model years (I think 2017+) it was a Dealer Installed Option for the "Level 2" kit with side skirts.

That appears to be a raw ABS aftermarket splitter, similar in shape and length to a Stage 2, which only came in clearcoated carbon fiber or painted Carbon Flash. I cannot identify that specific splitter as I've never seen one with such an aggressively defined center channel. None of the OEM splitters feature a center channel between the fangs like that.

OEM Stage 1 is a simple short lip, which does not follow the contours of the bumper "fangs" and is only as long as said fangs.

Stage 2 protrudes farther and does follow the contour of the bumper fangs like yours does, and comes with small winglets at the corners.

Stage 3 is a Stage 2 splitter with large winglets.

Can you provide a picture of the corners of your splitter?

Honestly it looks like it has a bra on the splitter.

I see what you mean on the passenger side, but to me it looks like a couple of dents/dings...??

No, no bra the splitter is a flat black though. "]https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/2000x1504/img_1369_69075925f756e7622539a20f6eb943d d6ed4a4cf.jpeg[/img]

There are so many aftermarket splitters available it's nearly impossible to identify it with a couple of photos unless someone here happens to have the same one. Are you wanting to remove it, replace it, or something else?

That is 100% aftermarket. It's a "Stage 2" clone, and not an exact one at that. That's why it looks a big strange.

Yup. Google “corvette c7 splitter” and you get dozens of them, if not more. The one in the first pic looks like this one on eBay for $110. I’d be leery of the quality at that price.

I wanted to know which style so I could buy another if needed because I like the way this one looks. It is also made from fiberglass. Looks made pretty well.

Unfortunately your best bet is to google it and start looking at them to find a match. Good luck.

That is a raw unpainted GTX Splitter with the detachable winglets originally sold by C7 Carbon.

While they do still sell that splitter, it is no longer available from them with the winglets, but it may be available from other vendors.
