Default How is Navtool doing now

Hi, I have seen that around 2016 there were alot of problems getting the Navtool systems. So they don’t look good at the BBB.

My question is -is anyone still having problems getting the system or is there still problems after that episode?

Am also wondering if it turns on the camera automatic when your speed is 10
mph or lower or do you have to use reverse first? I have seen both ways said so not sure.

Any advice on them or the front camera system is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any input on this.

I ordered mine last summer and had an excellent experience. It took awhile for my tracking to show up and customer service can be tricky with the language barrier. But everything came as described and install was pretty straight forward with the help of some YouTube videos. The system has worked flawlessly since then. Mine is a 2014 and I didn't add cameras so I can't speak on that.

Mine has been installed for roughly 3 years and has the front camera on when under 10 mph automatically I guess. System has worked great since day one.

I was one of the original ones that had problem with them.

They have improved, and are now good.

Default Issue at first

I purchased one last year, and one of the wiring connectors was bad, and the guy from that pool told me to bypass it using additional wire which I did because they wouldn’t send me a new one, in the spring when I took my car in for Dino tuning. They said the transmission went bad and hear what it was doing. Was it was popping out of driving to park because of the bad connector to the BCM module i spent $4000 on a torque converter and transmission inspection. After all that I finally got the guy to send me a new connector but he made me send the unit in for checking as well. The long story short I pulled it out sent it to him. They sent it back verifying it was OK and with new connectors.

While it was out, I went ahead and just hooked up an LCD screen to my front camera and ran the wires to my cubby behind the radio, since I primarily purchased an item for the front camera, I just decided to leave it like that since I only use it when pulling up to a curb and is pretty easy to just hit the screen button and since the camera and screen are always on I see the curb right away

I would be happy to tell you mine for 100 bucks

should be fine

I think I will try the way you did it. Sounds like a good way and a lot cheaper. The front camera is all I wanted too. Thanks
