I have a 2015 Stingray Z51 coupe who's paint looks good, but the the surface is very ruff to the touch with what looks like water spots. I know the roof panel and hood are Carbon Fiber while the remainder of the body is Fiberglass. My car is Shark Gray Metallic with Chrome badging and wheels. Please advise a good cleaner and wax to use on the painted surfaces. I used Meguiar’s Cleaner Wax on my RAM 1500 recently which turned out really well and I have plenty left to use. I wore out the supplied Meguiar’s applicator pad and ordered more Meguiar’s pads today.
Does the paint surface feel like fine sandpaper? If so you need to clay bar the entire vehicle then follow up with a polish. This will remove water spots too. Then apply coating of your choice. The clay works good on the glass too to remove water spots or a dedicated automotive glass polish.
Turtle wax, Pro Precision Platelet is the best wax/polish I have ever found. One step polish. It takes a lot of rubbing but leaves a prefect finish. Removes surface blemishes and surface colored scratches.

Clay bar will easily and completely remove surface contamination. I wet the surface with either soapy water or use spray detailer and lightly glide it over the surface. After that I apply my favorite polish/wax.
