Congratulations... very nice. You'll love the GS. That's great that you found one with low mileage.
Now it's time for new tires (8 yr life expectancy), consider new wheels (wheel cracks issue with wide body C7), check the VIS report at a GM dealership to confirm triple flush was completed (torque tube issue), and probably new fluids for brakes, coolant, differential, and oil.
Get a Range device to protect your new car, if it's an A8. (Protection against AFM lifter damage.)
Don't let these "care and feeding" issues scare you.
It's all part of the price of admission as you know, having previously owned a C7.
IMO the C7 is the best of the breed.

Congrats on the new GS! Looks super!

By the way, if you'll be purchasing new wheels to avoid the cracking issue, chrome on white looks great ! (Not my car - pulled the pic from the Forum)

Thanks!
GS was a friend of a friend, couldn't pass up the mileage/year gain, GS was stored in heated garage it's whole life.
Already have the Range device and a Soler performance controller to swap into the GS.
Rims all look good (finger crossed).
New battery last night (was original).
Doing fluids at next oil change.

I was considering, I have a post asking for opinions on the clear top.
I do like the open feel of the cabin that is offers and being in Michigan, our summer only lasts for one weekend.

Congratulations on the new Grand Sport!

It's too bad the previous owner didn't drive it or get to enjoy it as he should. Good for you though.

Too bad you can’t keep both Corvettes. They look really nice together. And your neighbors would never know which one you were driving. Plus, if C7 parts ever got really, really scarce, you could cannibalize the 2015 Stingray.

Congratulations on the Grand Sport. Sounds like you picked up a fantastic GS.

I picked mine up from a gentlemen in Garden City, who had put new tires and battery in it prior to my purchase, and had the Dearborn Chevrolet dealership do the cooling system, brake fluid, transmission fluid changed prior to my purchase. He had it stored at a storage unit along Michigan Ave, and at the time of purchase it had 7,200 miles on it. This spring I brought the car down off the Quickjacks after doing the springtime changing of the oil and fuilds checks. I also changed out the differential fluids, which did have the commonly noted silvery look to the old fluid that drained out.

I really enjoy driving my GS, and I am sure you will enjoy yours too.
