Perfect spot brother. Keeps them away from road debris and water. I like it

Hey Mallett435, how easy was it to totally remove the valve's and the actuators from the exhaust? did you have to cut a length of the exhaust pipe and weld/clamp in a piece?

Borla sells over-the-axle pipes without the valves and very high quality. I just used them. You can just leave the valves there for quick warranty change if ever needed. Just plug the AFMs back in and go to dealer.

I see Borla sell's axle back with mufflers, but didn't see just the pipes before the mufflers with out the valves. Do you have a part # or did you buy the complete axle back set up with mufflers?.

I bought the whole cat back from Borla with valves. Then, called them to sell me just the over-the-axle pipes (no valve version) without mufflers. I'll look for a part number. If I can't find it, PM me and I'll send you the email from the guy at Borla who sold them.

Question for guys who have removed their AFM actuators and/or installed the module - have you used AFM / V4 mode afterwards and if so, how does the car sound?

Is it really that noticeable or worse of a sound in V4?

Can I leave the afm valve hooked to the exhaust, or should I remove them?

No need to remove the valve, just plug the modules into the wiring harness and secure. Done and done

I have a 2015 z51 M7 that is tuned. The tune deleted the AFM function and the 1 to 4 skip when in Eco mode. Question: Will the module work with the tune I have? I want to remove the actuators, as I have done with the NPP actuators. Will the cel come on and what is the feedback thus far from your system? I would like to place an order in another month or two. Thanks.

Yep you can completely remove AFM with NO CEL. The feedback is great. I have asked those that have purchased to post uncensored comments in this thread for the benefit of other members. As with everything we sell here at Edgyvette your satisfaction is guaranteed.
