Just wanted to update the people that PM'd me about where I ordered, and for everyone else.
I ordered from gmpartsdirect. Worst experience ever!!!
I placed my order on 3-10, 3 days later I get an email saying my PayPal address wasn't verified so my order was on hold and I would have to send them a copy of my ID, which seemed odd since I use PayPal all the time with no issue.
So I called PayPal and they said everything on my end was fine and didn't know why they were saying that. Anyways I called and called and finally got ahold of someone on the phone. He said they couldn't do the PayPal transaction cuz of the address issue, even tho I told him there was no issue on my end and that I spoke with PayPal about it. So I got him to take the order off of hold and back to active, by telling him I will just pay with CC when it's ready to ship.
Now today 3-23 I get another email saying "your order is ready to ship, however UPS has flagged these parts as hazardous material and are requesting an additional shipping in the amount of $58.32. Please let us know if you agree to the additional charges."
So I told them to cancel the order all together. Never have I delt with such a joke of a company. From now on I will gladly pay a little more for a forum vender. I was a little skeptical of gmpartsdirect in the first place and now after this I would never buy anything from them. Almost impossible to get them on the phone and it's just always something with them.
Just wanted to share to give you all a heads up.
