For you guys who have installed these on a Z06, what's the secret to accessing the front lights? The backs were easy, done in 15 minutes, but after removing the 3 bolts that go through the spats I don't see any way to pull the fender liner apart to expose the markers like on the back. How did you do it?
Thanks.

did you figure out the issue with the front that you were having? Mine are set to be delivered today, and hopefully can install tonight on the GS! Any tips you have are appreciated.

It's more difficult with the fender spats on the Z06. I just had to be more persistent! I used a couple plastic pry bars to get more room for my big hands, of course gently to avoid any scratches to the bodywork. Once I had room (although not much room) the challenge was to get the last clip on the lights out of the slots they clip into. It was much more difficult than the rears for me, but patience and persistence paid off, and that's about the only tip I can give you! Without spats I'm sure the fronts are probably as easy as the rears.

Thanks, the Grand Sport has fender spats like the ZO6, that’s why I was asking.

The spats make the front a PITA. I removed my front markers from the outside of the car, rather than gaining access to the rear of the marker and releasing the clips. VERY gentle with a plastic pry tool, then slid a credit card behind the light and the bumper cover to release the clip. Came right out (After spending 30+ minutes taking off panels, spats, wheel, wheel liner etc etc on the first side)

Thank you for the info (and sorry for the unexpected install troubles)! I never would have thought to recommend removal like this but love the thought of it!

Unpainted units are ready to rock & roll!
Painted units are painted to order so typically experience a 3-5 week delay

Dumb question I know.

But the side markers don't come on until the headlights come on (at night).

Has anyone figured out a way for them to come on automatically during the day?

Yes, I know you can manually turn them on.

Thanks.

There's likely a much easier way to do it but the first method that comes to mind would be to run a jumper wire from the DRL's to the side markers with a one-way diode inline.

Thursdays are the best days to place orders for painted sets to experience a minimum down time!
