To date, the only legitimate sale I've seen was for a pair of adrenaline red seats in less than excellent condition. The asking price was $3000 + freight. These were complete seats taken out of a wreck. Not a conversion.
There's been a couple other ads posted, but they've turned out to be scams.
I've been searching for a pair since I bought my car last year. They are very, very rarely offered for sale as complete assembly.
Kgrant and Robert are absolutely right...I think you will find not only do you save money on the conversion...your bottom will feel better because you use your existing lower cushion...which is a little thicker...take some time to think about this...doing the conversion is pretty straight forawrd and there are guys here that will help you.. just take your time...I put new seat covers on mine; trust me it is easier than doing c6 seat covers bud.
Thanks for the trunk monkey link. Do you know if the seat back leather matches the seat cushion properly or would you recommend getting both so they match for certain?
You have been looking for these for over a year and a half. It may be more fruitful to do the conversion. Besides, shipping costs on seats is out of sight since they definitely qualify for special handling charges.
