C7 Carbon | ZR1 ZTK style Rear Wing for Non-ZR1 Vettes | Carbon Fiber!!!
Hello again everyone!
We are thrilled to announce that we'll be taking on a very exciting project that lately many of you have asked us about: The C7 ZR1 ZTK style rear wing for Non-ZR1 Vettes
The wing will be inspired on the most aggressive style found on the ZTK package ZR1s
In other words, we want to give you the opportunity to convert the look of your Z06/GS Vette,
from this:
to this:
We are currently working out the details and taking care of the R&D needed to carry out this conversion.
- Will modifications on the rear bumper will be required? Yes.
- Is a special brace/support needed for the wing? Definitely.
- Will the wing look similar to the OEM ZTK ZR1 wing? You know it.
- Will it be more affordable than at the dealership? Hell ya!
Some modifications on the vehicle and rear bumper fascia may be required in order to carry this radical wing, we know that this is something that its not easy to do to, specially when it comes to your pride and joy. However, our design & development team is currently working out all the details so we can make sure this conversion is as easy and turn key as possible to help take your Vette to that next level without breaking a sweat!
We'd love to hear your thoughts about this, we look forward in listening what you have to say and in taking this project forward. Thanks again!

5k is way tooooo much.. You should consider making it so people have the option of painting it.. For 5k? You might sell one or two but keeping it at 2k to $2,500 you will sell more.. You want to keep the cost Down so people can afford them! I'm all for it and I'm a big spender on my cars but no way will I spend that on a wing! I can see what my cost is on a zr1 wing from the dealer and post my cost price to compare..

I think your price is way off. Yes, the OEM ZR1 wing probably costs more. The ZR1 is a Halo car. GM can charge whatever they like for it and still get it. You can get a quality carbon fiber hood for a Corvette, M4 or just about any car for less than half of that. GLWS.

If it's around $2000 Sign me up & have my name.
5K is just allot, I do like to spend on my car but not a 5K for this spoiler.

Tell me why your wing is worth $3000 more.

It's also not $3000 of mounting hardware to affix the wing the wing to the chassis. Especially since Chevy already did the engineering work and you're just creating a knockoff application.

My suggestion is to bolt the wing on the rear fascia of the car. I have seen a number of aftermarket wings attached in the same place as your pic and it causes a lot of spider cracking in the paint, which tells me it is supported correctly. In the ZR-1 the wing is actually bolted to the frame of the car, which I think is a lot smarter solution than anything on the hatch area. Just my 2 cents. And I agree with others, 5K is way too much. Consider having a carbon flash version, which might be cheaper.

In for the 2-2500.00 carbon flash version.

Man.. tough crowd.. lol
while I also agree that 5K is a lot to spend on a wing, I also understand the benfits of it being chassis mounted vs decklid mounted. Is that worth $3000 more than the one mentioned above? I don’t know. But its definitely worth more for sure. Also, while GM may have done the engineering and designed that wing, they may have reinforced the chassis where it mounts to. So copying like for like may not be an option. This vendor may be also including something to ensure the structural rigidity is equivalent. Just sayin.

Selling in bulk at 2k to $2500 will make you more money by keeping the cost down vs trying to sell one or two at 5k.. That's just me and I'm sure others feel the same? Look at that company Tikt? How many have you seen roll around with there wing at 8k? Only two I've seen and one im sure got it for cost or free and it's Jason from Katech! The other person I do know and he's rich as ****! For 5k on a wing? Id rather buy me a bad *** set of forged wheels and tries.. My dealer cost on the zr1 oem wing is $4700 and I still wouldn't buy it.. I think you know where we all stand on the wing and I'm in at 2k or $2500 with the others! Sign me up if you can make it work? And I'm sure other members agree and will also make a purchase at that price!

If the cost is down? I'll buy one.. Also keep in mind most of us also would want a carbon flash paint vs carbon fiber.. If you can also make a One piece hood? That would be great as well.. I myslef spent 3k on the oem zr1 fenders, splash Shields, bumper cover, all the grilles but I refuse to buy the hood at 6k my cost! Plus you would need another $1800 for the carbon fiber piece that sits on top of the blower! A one piece zr1 hood would be Great! The zr1 fender vents are $1100 a side and they are ugly as hell! So if someone made something badass to replace them? That's a plus! I'm sorry but they look like Women's private part down there on a larger scale!
