F1x for f1a94
Hey guys
i have a f1x that i want to trade for a f1a94, im going smaller because i will keep the power at 1000whp and that not won’t be in the efficient range for a f1x

The F1X is to much for you is that what you are saying here. I loved the F1X in the car power hit really hard at around 4,k plus rpm & that thing keeps on pulling on the top end. Guys I love the F1X you dont have to paddle these cars half as much down low in the RPM range & if you can drive I really would take a F1X over the Fla94 any day of the week. Robert

I totally understand why he wants the -94. Most likely same reason I spent months deciding, as well as talking to ProCharger directly and they 100% told me -94 was the best route under 1200 wheel horsepower. They told me it's MUCH more streetable, power comes in quicker, better low-mid over the X. If you don't care to make over 1200 wheel why even go X? It wasn't a money thing for me, it was having the best of both worlds a 1000 wheel horse ethanal burning STREEETABLE ride that can make some great tack numbers. I plan on taking mine to Roebling Road for track days so an X wouldn't make sense for that. Hell a -94 almost doesn't make sense. I get people love to brag on what they have, but I did a ton of homework and talked to PC directly and trusted what they told me. If I wanted an all out drag car I would go F1X, but for street/track/drag X is just too big, power comes on too late. Just my .02.
Good luck Black_C7 you may find someone out there that would want to swap. All the best!

But from myself I loved the f1x you can always tune it down on the power level. But for the power to come in later in the RPM range you can just do less paddle off the line. Man I hope your remark on the BRAG on what people have wasn't pointing to me. I am to dam old to be doing that at all plus I don't even have that set up any more.
We all are diff & have & like diff stuff for diff reasons my only remark was hw the F1X was & how it comes in the upper RPM range. Which will & should help a person down lower & off the line if you do the 1/8 r 1/4 track.

Robert too old for all that nonsense and drama especially we know how easy it is to ruffle feathers here. I have been on here a very long time met a lot of good people. Last thing I do is bring drama so no sir that wasn't meant to you especially in that way. I try to bring as much experience and knowledge from my point of view and let others decipher if it's worth listening or not. We all have a lot to bring with our own past builds. I only commented here b/c I went through this -94 to X back and forth literally so many times my head was spinning. I ended up talking with PC directly and it's what they recommended for ME, which was streetable, track driven, with 1/4 mile use. I could be all wrong I have never been able to directly compare a -94 to X, I can only go on what PC told me. I should have my build done in a week or so Chris Crawford just shot me the PC tune today. Will have a good bit to report soon. All good Robert!

there is no way it will pull pull from 4k rpm for my power range, what power you was making? Mine was making 900whp on pump with 17 psi, boost starts at 8-9 psi and climb to 17psi at 7000 rpm, that why its dead down low, if my power was like 12-1300whp then I would tell you the x is the only way i would go, but at my power level i can take the f1a94 and make the same power but with better mid range

here you go, that why you felt it good down low, you probably was making 900whp at 4500-5000rpm so the power that you felt at 4500rpm is what i fee at 7000rpm lol, mine is set at 17psi at 7000rpm. If i was going for 1200whp then i would stick with the x but at my power goal it won’t do it

Gotcha.. I have a 94 and would consider.. but not painted.. good luck.. I agree the 94 is the way to go.. I will have mine maxed out in a week and will probably go to the x or consider the new vortec line..
not many understand the x and what it was designed for.. it was a specialty blower for a class of dragster made to be spun hard.. not pushing it yields **** performance.. a maxed out 94 should out perform an underspun x..
good luck getting a 94!
