You advertised item "in great condition" These are NOT in great condition. Refund the guy his money and run an accurate ad for the item. Someone will probably buy the item for the price you've asked. But your current customer did not get what he thought he was getting .

As previously stated, pics are worth a 1000 words. I do not know of many forums that have "for sale" subs that don't require pictures with sale posts. If the seller had posted pics this entire issue could have been avoided.

As far as the condition of the items, I will have to agree that those are not in "great" condition regardless of them being seen or not.

Simple resolution, seller refunds the buyers funds and the buyer to return the items. Everyone is made whole again.

I would ask that the admins/mods review their policy regarding posting things for sale without pics and we all would benefit from requiring them in the future.

Seller said, “These are in great condition,“. Ripped, stain, and full of pet hair is not great condition. Then he hads the nerve to say just clean them.

Seller flat out lied and scammed the buyer just for a few bucks.

Here's an update on this: PayPal decided the case in my favor (seller's favor) and credited the money back that they had put a hold on. So much for iced's attempt to pull a fast one.

Drive safe everyone.

So you are scamming paypal now? You supposedly sent the mats back to me and the tracking number you provided them shows they were delivered somewhere else. I take it you sold the mats to someone else, yet disputed the charge with paypal anyway?

It's amusing the level of effort lowlifes such as you will put forth to pinch a few dollars. Heard of karma? It always catches up to you. Good luck.

i still have the mats. I didnt sell them to nobody. When you dont pay for return shipping, you cant get em back after you scam me.

additionally, i disputed the transaction with my bank, stopped contacting paypal about it a long time ago since they take more than a month to resolve.

you are right, Karma will hit you very soon. You know what you sent and how you sent it. You know exactly what you did.

I purchased quite a few parts from xxaarraa at the same time these were available and I received everything. All of the items were as he listed. I am very happy with my dealing with him. He actually included for free a couple items that he had for sale I didn't ask for.
I think you have made a much bigger deal of this that it needed to be. Yes, it looks used and has some spill marks, but why don't you just place it under the carpet or under a rear mat if you have one.
Certainly it has some value, so why not attempt to compromise with the seller.

So, just in case I’m missing something:
1. You said they were in “great” condition. Your words, right?
2. You shipped a product that was most certainly NOT in great condition.
3. You’re now bragging about sticking the end user with a product that did not fit your description.

Unreal...

xxaarraa,

Why did PayPal decide in your favor? Why did they decide in your favor when you sold an item that was not as you described?

spot on.

i messaged this jacka** and asked him if he wanted to do a partial refund or send me a return label to return this POS. And he never responded to that either.

If I remember the Paypal process correctly, Paypal does not take condition into consideration.

They are not a sales platform and only handle the transactional side of things.

Seller received funds, seller shipped product (though not as described), product received received by buyer. In Paypal's eyes the seller did everything required.
Paypal verified Tracking number and proof of delivery from seller and the same for the return from buyer. However; Proof of delivery was not produced for the return and after the time line expires it defaults to the original transaction. In this case it's in the sellers favor. I assume the time expired because buyer went the bank route and bypassed PayPal.

I have no skin in this game and not taking anyone's side, just stating the facts.

Is there a reason you cant just cover the blasted things with a sweet looking Lloyds cargo cover? How often do you plan on looking at it?

Here's the bottom line. Iced is a shady dude. Lowballs, sends less than agreed, files a dispute within 5 minutes of receiving item without making any attempt to contact seller. Files a claim, PROVIDES PAYPAL WITH A FAKE TRACKING NUMBER on the return and gets called out. Then claims paypal is not worth his time and files a dispute with his bank instead. All the while throwing a hissy fit on the forum. If you gave up on paypal like you claim, why did you provide them with a fake tracking number for the return?????

Cuz im a shady dude.

Like everyone is saying here. Paypal is a transactional platform, it does not take into consideration the items condition. I cannot return an item if you don't provide me with a return shipping label, since this is YOUR fault. I messaged you a few times for a partial refund OR return shipping label. However, you chose not to respond.

I filed a dispute with my bank because i knew the outcome of paypal. I did paypal because i wanted my funds to be held that YOU STOLE while sending me garbage. I am not fond of paypal, but most people on this forum use paypal and you clearly stated you wanted paypal funds.

Anyways, my bank knows whats going on. I sent them pictures of the item and told them what you said about not providing a return label. Consider this matter closed as it will be dealt with my bank and paypal (I have already recovered my funds, even though temporary, but will become permanent soon). If you want the item back, you need to provide a return label, i am not about to send it back to you under my funds, you don't deserve it that way after what you have done.
