Default Borla 60547 X-Pipe

Looking to buy the Borla 60547 X-Pipe for my 2017 C7 Z06/07 A8. Any venders have them in stock? Looking to have it shipped to 89115 (work address). It is my understanding this will replace the rear two cats and provide a little more sound.

Thank you,
Brandon

I tried the usual spots to find one including Amazon and other online retailers. Anyone have one?

Thank you Amirns, Do you own/work for this company? Is this actually in stock? I am planning on calling them tomorrow. Looks like shipping is free from the site.

Thank you for the response.

If you can’t find the Borla I’d go with Corsa. I believe it’s still available. Love my Borla but both brands are proven.

RDP store had a bunch, with a pretty good discount, not sure if they still do or not. It would be worth contacting them as well

Borla's are nearly impossible to get now.. Corsa is a different story.

Why are these Borlas hard to get now? Borla stopping making them?

If I remember correctly, There was some legal issue with removal of the cats and one of the big governmental agencies came down on them. I thought it was resolved and they were back up and running? Maybe they allowed them liquidation of remaining inventory and was what I thought as back in production?

edit 02-18-19 :

Verbal from Borla ~ 60547 has been discontinued "due to low sales and does not meet highway emissions."

You'll get the same sound and it is probably your only solution for a Borla x-pipe going forward or purchasing another brand.

Hope so.

One would think that if it were available, the item would be listed on their website, but it is not. I will call them on Monday as I have been unable to find a major vendor with one in stock.

Well, just talked to Ryan with Borla in the California facility, and the 60547 is NOT available and NOT in production. Not only that, I got the distinct impression that they no longer sell off-road x-pipes (pipes that remove the catalytic converter) for any vehicle (but I did not verify that for EVERY vehicle they produce exhaust systems).

Bummer.

It appears your only hope is to find used or get lucky and find a vendor that has one still in stock. I would not trust any vendors online website for stock status, I would call and have them physically verify item on hand before purchasing.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update. That’s kinda of a bummer. Corsa ones seems to be able to be purchased but not sure on the sound as a lot of people liked the borla. And the debate of the 3 inch vs 2.75 you loose some low end torque if I remember correctly.

bummer

...and I had just spoken with them last month.

ssmith512, you are correct sir

Eventhough it was tremendously overpriced, it was a cool piece.

So sad.

Contact Cajun or Yve (Eve) at Edgyvette, they have a great clone of this for less money. GREAT people to do business with!
