See post #35 as it shows a lot of example options, YETI's typically have a very wide bottom and won't work as I tried my YETI. However, I had at least ten other cups in my cabinet that do work so those are the ones I used when driving the vette. There are not any solutions that will fit the millions of shapes and sizes so for this product you have to be a little flexible because if you are married to a certain cup then you have a 50/50 chance but I almost guarantee most people have options other than their favorite cups.

Just a note. Before installing the cup holder, extend both cups all the way until you feel a POP as this lets you know they are now locked into position and also shows how much pulling is needed after they are installed. It locks in the front, and both sides.

Speedfreaq:

Because the cups vary so much is size and shapes, I would suggest when you receive the cupholder, try what cups you have available in your home before you install the holder. If no cup in your home works, go to the store and take the cupholder with you and find the cup that you like and try it in the holder right there at the department store is what I would do to find the one that fits perfectly that meets your needs. I love the holder for myself!

In addition to my trying all of my cups and having them not fit and in advance of taking this around to a bunch of stores, I wonder if anyone in this corvette forum, in the Cup holder solution thread might have already found one that fits.

If so, I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Once you purchase cups, you throw the packaging away so I my case I didn’t have anything that would tell me the exact dimensions of the cups I use.

Two of my “Contigo travel mugs work and my larger one doesn’t. In my opinion the cups” that tapper smaller towards the bottom typically seems to work.

I don’t see you needing to run around d to a lot of of stores because if you go to let’s say a Walmart, Target, Sears, bed bath beyond etc they have all types of shapes and sizes of travel mugs that you would be able to choose at one store.

I found that the hydro flask 22 ounce tumbler works pretty well. Sits down into the second ring.

Will update this thread for the benefit of others. Feel free to add.

Nope. That one from amazon does NOT fit. It is too large at the base. The base measures about 2.8” and not 2.25 inches for the 32 oz slim as mentioned in the ad.

Bummer. Any others find ones that fit??
