Man the shorty headers is not worth the trouble of the diff at all. Go with long tubes it will only lean the car up a little this c7 runs rich anyway.... Robert

But if you do get long tubes you'll have to get it tuned, ask me how I know. Don't know if shorty headers would cause the same problems.

plus im in California. Shortys offer some gains , better sounding exhaust for 1/3 the price.

It doesn't cause any codes will only make it run leaner. ASK ME HOW I KNOW THAT. But also if you don't tune it per say no real gains also. I put on my car LT headers at first, drove the car checked the plugs, Then went to a cold air intake, Then went with a 95 zr1 T.B. Then my plugs went from burning rich to like old school tan.. ALL WITHOUT A TUNE FOR OVER 2 MONTHS.

But being in the state you are in maybe the shortys would be better man. Robert

Mine was misfiring so bad that it threw codes all day long. Had a CAI, ported TB, and colder plugs on it as well.
