Default Carbotech Brake Pads

Guys and Gals, it has come to my attention that there are those on here who represent themselves as Carbotech when in fact they are not.
So here is the news on the new C7 brake pads from Carbotech.
Danny from Carbotech sent me some backing plates last week why we had our Zip C7 apart. We found the plates to fit the front and made a new plate that was needed for the rear and sent it back to Danny at Carbotech. They are out being made right now. Nobody has them in stock because they do not exist as of right now.
I had not planned on releasing any information until they were on our shelves and ready to ship, but a non-stocking dealer who portrays himself as Carbotech has prematurly released this information claiming he had them in stock.

We will have our website "zip-corvette.com" up to date later today so it shows the new pads. They should start to be in stock possibly late next week or the following week. I am going to stock the following compounds immediatly and then more to follow, 1521, AX6, XP8, XP10, XP20.
Even if you have just a street car, the 1521 will make a huge difference, we have just put 549 miles on our car and the wheels look horrible, which is why we pushed to get a ceramic compound. There will be more later maybe even a Zip exclusive compound coming out. We will be the first to have them in stock as the shipment leaving Carbotech already has our name on it. If there are any questions please call one our sales reps and we will be happy to help you. I wll be at SEMA all next week so I may or may not see updates to this thread.
Thank You
Justin
