Default Raising driver's seat

A couple of threads by big guys, 6' or taller, 225 lbs or larger about will they fit. Answer yes.

I'm 5'6", 155lbs and need to raise the seat higher. I've raised it as far as I can and still have 5-6" of headroom.

Any suggestions on how to raise the seat higher?

Use a booster seat?

I have the opposite problem. I need the seat to go about an inch, 1.5" lower. (C7 and C6)

That should be relatively easy I would think.....take the seat out and add spacers under the mounts.

I'm 5'6" and 150 and will make do. I'm looking to buy a C7 immediately. Did you have a C6 before the C7? I've got no issues with the C6. I can't imagine the C7 being that much different.

Yes, have had the C4-5-6 and this is the first time I cannot get the seat high enough to comfortably rest my arm on the door sill with the window down.

Interesting.. I'm about to order my C7. Hopefully it wont be an issue for me. If it is, I will make do or figure out a way to modify the seat tracks. Only issue with doing that is safety. Would need to machine some good standoffs or weld on longer tabs where it mounts to the floor which would not be ideal as I would not want to permanently modify things as I only plan of keeping the car 3 years when I will upgrade to a Z model.

I'm 6'2 and 215 lbs and my head just barely fits with the seat all the way down. No way it would work with a helmet. I also found the seat to be very narrow compared to my C5 Z06. In fact, I found the cabin to be very tight overall.
