Traction Control with Automatic

Hey guys: I want to make sure I understand how to use the launch control with my automatic. Car is Z51 with MSRC. From how I read the manual, go to track mode, select any of the PTMS settings, hold the brake down hard, floor the accelerator, wait for the RPM's to "stabilize", then let 'er rip. That sound about right? I'd appreciate hearing how anyone who has used it likes it. This is my 5th Vette and the first automatic. Thanx guys! Larry C
