too much oil added
Well, being a concerned C7 owner, I checked my oil level and saw that it was well below the XXX on the dipstick. So I added a quart of 5-30 DEXOS (Mobil 1 oil). Now it reads well above the XXX on the dipstick.
Never having a dry sump set-up (have the Z51 C7), went to the owners manual and read about adding oil.
Now it appears that I've over-filled the oil capacity.
What, if anything, should I do? Just drive as I usually do and wait till the first oil change. OR, take it to a dealer/oil change place, and have them drain out the quart?

I would not worry about it unless it looks like it might run over. You could take a turkey baster and remove some of the oil. Nice thing about a dry sump is you do not have the excess oil foaming on the rotating crank like in a wet sump.
Even walmart has pumps like that in the auto area.
I won't say 7 miles is ok or not. It could burp a ton of oil into the intake and basically fill the intake with tons of oil, cover the maf, etc which would need a nice cleaning/etc and have a lot of added cost. That might not happen, but I wouldn't risk it. Just suck a quart out.

Great and will do. Eric, I'm the C7 owner that was going to be your test car for the headers, but my C7 got stuck in Nashville and you went to Ohio instead.
