Default Halltech Stinger Roto-Molded Version Pre-Order Deposit

If you want the only intake available for your C7, our Stinger CKN Carbon Fiber unit is available for order on our website. If you want to wait for our roto-molded version (exact CAD modeling) then here is our alternative coming in January 15th.

The Stinger AAIS (Ambient Air Induction System) can be pre-ordered here with a small $50.00 deposit: https://www.halltechsystems.com/Prod...uctCode=HSTRRM

We guarantee $500 or less pricing for this system to all those that jump into our cue. The deposit is 100% refundable at any time you wish to cancel.

If you think that headers and tuning are the only option for bolt on, think again. Our intake increases flow to your stock C7 by 13HP/10lb-ft
with no other mods. Katech engine dyno proven.

We could stop there, but Katech and Halltech will be dyno testing the Stinger on the chassis dyno, weather permitting, very shortly, to back up these dynos. Katech will be adding tuning to their Halltech Stinger to complete their Stage 1.

All of our testing has been with the stock tuning file. The power, sound and performance is awesome! What else would I say? I have also tuned our car to see what this car can lay down, even though it is not required for the horsepower claims, and frankly, I cannot tell the difference on the street, until and unless torque management is turned off. There are so many nannies, that tuning should be done by the experts in spite of warranty stuff.

I have seen just about everyone's tune out there over the last 12 years, and there is just so much that any tuner can do. Some risk your motor more than others, but I have recently seen tunes (C6Z06) that frankly couldn't add more than 2 horsepower and are what I call placebo tunes. Others that get closer to the envelope and make more power.

Halltech quit doing mail order tunes back in 2007, with very few exceptions, but we may get back into it after getting some baselines at Katech, but only in conjunction with our intake. It is near impossible to tune for another companies intake system by mail order unless you have an intake that starts out not needing MAF translation to keep long term fuel trim averages in line. Our intake falls into that category.

Can you trust mail order tunes? Yes, if you are planning on simple intake and exhaust bolt ons, maybe cam and heads, that have been dyno certified by the company selling the bolts ons and internal mods. There are good companies doing this type of tuning. Halltech has 100+ tuner installers on this forum that qualify.

No, if you want to be sure your car is dialed in perfectly on the chassis dyno, which is what most tuners are doing these days. I prefer the latter.

Awesome on the free shipping as I just placed a pre-order last night for the roto-mold version of the intake. I'm really looking forward to it.

Default Stinger Incentive update

We have 4 pre-orders so far, and have decided to further incentivize members for their pre-order.

Here is the deal. FREE SHIPPING for everyone when we hit 10 orders. If shipping charges were added, they will be applied to your invoice when the production begins.

For each pre-order, we take $1.00 off the $499.99 pricing. That means $495.99 is the price so far with 4 pre-orders. If we get 50 pre-orders, the price will be $449.99 for everyone. $499.99-$50.00=$449.99.

I may be able to go beyond that discount for this group purchase program, but we will need to see our total COGS first.

very interested in ordering one of your systems, however I do have a couple questions.

How will this compare to the carbon fiber version in gains, as well as keeping temperatures down, and weight?

Also could you pm me the price of your carbon fiber version i did not see it on your website

Our design is a CAD Solid Works design that will be a perfect model of the Carbon Fiber design. The things that count are on the inside of the intake anyway, not the outside.

Our plastic may absorb more heat than the Carbon Fiber Kevlar Nomex (CKN) technology I invented, but that is really an unknown at this time.

I do know, that the carbon fiber prototype came within +2 to +4 degrees of ambient, and our heat shield was not fully sealed and was aluminum with some heat shielding then. Stock is around +10 degrees over ambient all the time. We are using a thermocoupler vs. IAT scan device rather than the thermometer in the car for a more accurate comparison.

Our CPAPS blower really helps in this area as well.

Power will be identical. Weight of the stock vs. Carbon fiber amounts to -4.5lbs off the front end of the car.
