Sorry you had to waste time answering a dumb question
like yourself, i thought that one of the purposes in establishing a forum such as this is to share information, and for those who are more knowledgeable re: a particular subject, to share their knowledge with others. unfortunately, there are those here, as well as any similar places, who use the opportunity to belittle those who ask the questions. ignore them. there are a large number of very knowledgeable individuals here, who are willing to actually provide assistance. if you now how to do it, look up some of my prior questions--youll feel a lot better. having said that, there is some preliminary research that you can do in most areas, via the internet, to make this forum more valuable and effective to you--by asking more focused questions.
On the stingray, the LT1, 6.2 makes 455hp right?
does the performance exhaust (NPP) option add any HP?
thanks
John
there are multiple locations in the advertising and in the gm web sites where it is flat out stated that the 460 hp is achievable via the npp, and the accelerations (3.8 seconds, 0-60, e.g.) as well, assume the npp option. others herein will disagree with that statement, bit it is what they state.
thanks, I love this forum. it has been tremedously helpful to me over the years. I'll admit i'm no motorhead and indeed do ask alot of questions, but I do try (even thought seldom) to provide input. I do have a bad habit of asking alot of questions, I do perform a search but most times it proves inaffective as I'm a bit impatient. To the guys that are so eager to help me out, I thank you. this is one of the best forums out there. Thanks again to everyone.
John
Ask away! As far as I'm concerned there are no dumb questions. We are all (most anyway) here to share information and learn something at the same time. This forum has always been the place to get a Corvette education from some smart people.
