First let me say I am not real happy with the car. I was expecting to see more power on the base runs, but I am comparing those with what I have seen on the forum.
The dyno was a land&sea eddy current. I made probably 20 runs in all the different modes in the car. The econo mode only made 377, the graph shown is in track mode. I guess I was expecting to see 420 or so, but I didn't. If you figure a 15% driveline loss these numbers would be dead on.
The car was 212 during both runs and IAT's were in the low 80's F.
These runs were not back to back, once the filter was in I made a run and then followed it up with this run so that I could make sure any temprature's would not effect the test.
The great thing was to see the filter make 5 hp. So now we have a filter that can be re-used and cleaned often and it make 5hp over the stock filter. This was also a brand new GM filter in the car so that we were not comparing the Green filter with a used or dirty paper filter. The Green filter that was used was my original sample filter and it had 600 miles on it at the time of this test. The paper filter was out of the box.

I don't see why you are comparing your numbers to other people's dyno runs. Dyno numbers don't mean much unless they are on the same one in the same conditions. I always thought they were for baseline only then when you add mods you can see the gains compared with stock.
Can you post with two thin lines? It looks like you saw gains throughout the RPM range, but it is hard to see them. I think you are selling yourself short!
I really can't, the lines are so close that they will just merge. I can show the original base graph if you would like to see that.

I agree, don't get me wrong. I was just expecting more so I was disappointed. Kind of like when you think you are getting ready to sip your hot coffee to find it cold.
Hot damn! Is it Green because it's made of money??!!? LOL sorry, couldn't help myself.
It is cheaper than the C6 filters were. It is also only a tad more expensive than the factory filter which is not re-usable.
5 hp and 5 torque, does anything else get you that, that cheap?

touche'!! I didn't know the cost of the stock filters. So it seems like the Green filters save you some green. now that was bad.. Thanks for the info!
