Keep it in Track Mode.

Used to be able to pull the fuse on the C6, but that's different now with the mode-controlled NPP.

You can program it to be open all the time, not just in track mode.

You can override the flaps following the driving mode in the vehicle settings.

See page 5-42 in the manual.

On the center screen: Settings - Driving Mode - Engine Sound Management - Auto or Off

Auto follows the driver mode dial setting.

Off will leave the flaps open...mostly. There are still the flaps forward of the mufflers that do stuff mostly in 4-cyl mode. I leave mine in the off (open) all the time. I also notice that on some up shifts, I can hear something close until about 1700RPM the valves open. The driver mode does not affect this behavior for me, all modes behave the same in the 'off' position.

I have the Mild to Wild option on my 2011 GS and it stays in the open or loud position until I switch it to mild.

Thanks, Andy. I knew (or at least hoped) that was the case - I need ask Eric to have them change my sport mode to have the flaps constantly open. Track mode isn't always appropriate for road conditions.

That isn't required on the C7, as it's controlled by the computer and mode setting.
