Default Memory Function using key

Just took delivery of an LT-3/Z51 . Car is awsome but the owners manual is poorly wriiten. I have the Memory (seats, mirrors & steering wheel) set at "1" for myself and "2" for my wife. The manual indicates that the key UNLOCK will set the seat when the drivers door is opened. How does it know which driver is getting into the car? Is the memory synced to the individual keys? The key are not marked "1" or"2"

The FOBs aren't marked 1 or 2?

If it's like my wifes SRX, each key fob is tied to setting 1 or 2. She keeps hers in her purse. Before we realized this, she would always complain that it would revert to my settings. We just exchanged fobs and now we are good to go.

Thanks. The keys are not marked "1" or "2". However I will set memory "1" with my key in the car and memory "2" with my wifes key and report back.

Yes they are marked. Take the key piece out of it and the number is in one of the recessed areas of the key part.
