Default Hypothetical Question

Regardless of merits, is there any reason that the carbon ceramic Z06 brake package would not work on the Stingray? I am sure they are costly, maybe no better performance then a BBK, but they are light, fade proof, and the bling factor is high. I also realize that the information on the Z06 is lacking. Discuss?

Cheers.

Maybe wheel size? I honestly don't know though. I'm not sure if they have any pad sensors either?

Def need z51 size wheels and hardware. Racing Brake will have a full big brake kit out for much less than you'd pay for the ceramic kit too. They have light weight 2pc rotor replacements available now too

Physically? Other than what he just said about the actual disc fitment under the wheel, there shouldn't be any limitation.

Even if the Z06 BBK shipped with sensors, you wouldn't need to use them - simply re-use whatever we have in that case.

The only place you may run into a problem is if they alter the caliper brackets, but usually the aftermarket can fix that with a CNC'ed bracket.

Going to be a while until those show their face, though (if the OE C7 parts were any indication).

HA, I'll have a fresh 200 mile set up for grabs shortly because I'm dropping 11lbs this month (and no beer isn't getting cut out)
