Default Dear Borla

Please sell me a catback exhaust system.

That being said, has anybody here had any experience with the Billy Boat cat back on a vette? I really want to be a loyal Borla customer but I'm sick of waiting.

Can anybody describe the BB sound? All I have to go by is youtube videos of a couple C5's with a BB setup...

I too was waiting for Borla but finally gave up waiting. I understand delays but after 4 months of "2 more weeks" every time I call I'm done. I ordered a Magnaflow, they are said to be shipping their first run on the 18th to fill preorders.

I have never heard a BB in person.

Awesome news! I'm going to have to look into this option as well.

I had the BB Fusion on my C6 and it was awesome. The sound was incredible...deep and throaty and the craftsmanship just as good. I haven't heard it on the C7 yet though as I haven't seen any locally except mine.

B&B Is local here. They sound good to me but sound is all personal. Some people love them, some hate it. Even videos don't do most cars justice. If the sound is really important to you then wait and hear them in person. That goes the borla as well. Just because borla sounds good on c5/c6 doesn't mean the c7 will be what you want.

Borla is high quality but still doing things the old way (i.e. traditional mufflers).

B and B and others use sound cancelling technology. Basically the sound bounces back into itself cancelling it out. Personally I think B and B makes the highest quality systems for C4 and beyond so it is likely that the C7 system will be just as good.

B&B is good but I would say Corsa and Akropovic are nicer systems when it comes to quality.
