I was watching Velocity this weekend and they were putting headers on a car using a product called Stage 8, they have a locking plate on them to keep the header bolts from backing out due to vibration and eliminating leaks. My question for the tuners is, are these worth doing? It would seem never having to retorque header bolts would be a good thing.

Thanks for the feedback in advance.
I've used them and think they are great. If I were going to do headers, I would use these and the best gaskets available. The copper gaskets were the best I have ever used but there may be better stuff now.

They are a good product, but with the high quality headers available for the Corvette I have never personally had a need for them. The bolts included, or even reusing the stock bolts, have never backed out on me ever.
Years ago, this was necessary as I felt like I was always torquing header bolts on my old hot rods. No downside though, so if you like the look then go for it.
