My A/C Compressor works fine, but it is noisy. More noticeable at idle and slow start accelerations.

It sounds like the old Ford power steering pumps of the 1980's. Turn off the A/C and noise is gone.

Luxury cars have small mufflers installed on the high pressure line out of the compressor to eliminate this. Wonder why Chevy didn't install one for this car.

My 2013 Camaro SS I traded in for my C7 had zero compressor noise.

Anyone else out there notice this?

corvette is not a luxury car so it doesn't have ac line mufflers.

maybe something is wrong with your car.

Do you notice any noise at all when the AC compressor is activated?

Not a squealing or screeching noise, but more like a groaning noise, but not too loud.

I can hear when the compressor turns on from inside the car, once the cooling fan kicks on high it pretty much drowns it out.

I would describe it as groaning noise as well.

I can hear mine as well. I would call it more of a rattle than a groan. My 2008 C6 AC compressor is silent, but this seems to be normal for the C7. I posted about it back in January.
