Default Access to area behind InfoTainment screen?

Anyone know of how to access that area so as to run a small cable out of it and down to the passenger side of the dash?

I'm looking at mounting something in there but I need to wire it to another part of the car

Another forum member recently posted a very detailed video of him removing the entire dashboard and many other related pieces. It was very informative. Maybe if you find it you'll be able to determine which way to route your wire.

I've had the center console off when I robbed power for my radar detector from one of cig lighter sockets but that video does give me some ideas as to routing my wire.

Thanks

KenHorse, did you remove just the console to access the radar tap at the lighter, or can it be done by pulling the lighter part only?

I removed the console. It is super easy to do and it took more time to actually do the wiring to the connector's wiring than it did to remove and replace the console!

Thanks for the info. I'll get the tools and attack my radar detector install tomorrow.
