Default Waiting waiting (Hello ProChager)

Placed a order with them weeks ago thru (VR) and I saw another thread about them so I decided to give ProChager a call too see what's up. They gave me no info and told me to give (VR) a call. Now it looks like it might be the 1st week in April and yes I gave a large deposit. ProChager can you please give me a detailed reason as to why its taking so long to ship. I don't want to go thru the $$adt again.

I dont see this turning into a Pfadt situation as they are a well established company and also have a industrial division but it is kinda comical that things are playing out like they did with Pfadt as far as the marketing goes.

Super active on the forum at first then once people start placing orders it goes silent. Customer service is looking pretty poor at this point although it always kinda has been as far as referring you to their dealers for things. That has always seemed to be the go to move over there in my experience.

I know they are busy over there these days but hopefully they find time to get on here and answer some questions before they seal their fate in a bad way with people. It doesnt look good when you go from being active daily on the forum to just disappearing, especially when PFADT just pulled that.

Another thing that you may want to know is there may be an issue using the Intune to tune the C7 with a supercharger. (Procharger was going to use Intune). This is what I got from Vengeance racing regarding the Intune:

Good afternoon Robert,

I have spoken with Chris @ ECS and have two different ways that we can approach the tuning. He explained to me that he does not feel comfortable sending out the intune, as Diablo has had some issues come up recently due to inconsistency on tune files on the C7.

I worked with a ProCharger customer installing a kit on a C7, and the tune was loaded with an inTune. This was last Friday.

We have not mapped out everything needed to create the tunes with our software, but there is nothing keeping the intune from loading a good file with a couple extra steps on the tuners end

I've not heard from anyone regarding any such inconsistency issues...

Thanks

Just to comment on this, there might have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding on Chris' side on this. There is nothing wrong with the In Tune at all, myself and other tuners I speak with regularly have seen a few inconsistency's regarding fueling with the base tune files. Five cars are great, and one will be rich, so for now I am more comfortable using HP tuners so I can see a log file. One step better is to send in your ECM to us and I'll install a base file while you do your install, and go see a reputable tuner for a check over afterwards, same as we have done for the C5/C6 platform for years now.

Again, this is not at all an In Tune situation, so our apologies to Diablo and you if that was not conveyed properly.

Well looks like I'm going with ECS as they were my 1st choice before the ProChager unit came out.

When the kit released we did our best to build up stock for items such as all the powder coated pieces, factory parts, etc. However the first round of orders was beyond staggering, and admittedly there was bit of a back-order on systems with the horizontal intercooler offering, So if you have a horizontal system on order, that likely was the delay. (Our apologizes) However if anyone ever wanted to swap to the vertical intercooler before the system has shipped, they are more then welcome to. (It actually performs a touch better, however hasn't been talked about on the forums, due to the change being so minimal, 10 degress better IAT's on the Vert unit compared to same sized Hori.)

We do not charge any customer/dealer for anything until the moment it leaves the our shipping doors, nor do we take deposits, never have.

Sadly we don't always get on the forums, however at ANYTIME you are more then welcome to call our sales staff, or customer service center at 913-338-2886 or email us at any emails at any time, to check status on your order. I assure you we have more then enough staff to take your call and answer any questions you may have.

Thanks Mike, could not have said it better.

The InTUNES have been working great!
