There weren't any stock Z06's here running 150+ in the 1/2...no chance. I had a guy with an 09' Z06 right in front of me making 525whp and the best he could muster in the mile at this event was 170. I had a 10' ZR1 behind me with a pulley and tune only, and he was at 181. The stock C6's were in the high 150's...so no, have to disagree with you there.
My tune was done by Hennessey and I think they have the car set to pull timing the faster it goes from a safety/conservative aspect. I am going to have someone look at it as now after talking to a couple folks I do believe the car will do a lot better when I put the Alky methanol kit on it, going to add 3psi boost, and re-tune. I think then I will be 180+ next time.

Glad to hear it - that tune was really conservative, like overly so.
There's a lot more on the table especially once meth is added in.

For sure...fighting head winds, high IAT's due to heavy air/temp, and a tune that pulls timing at the big end = slow....lol
With 10 psi, meth, and a good tune that stays safe, but opens things up a bit more I expect much more out of the car...should be in the 650+whp range, and much more realistic as to the car's true potential.
If I take the restrictor plate out completely it will run 13psi, and upper 700's...not going to do that, yet....

Yup, lots of variables come into play at the mile. Headwind/tailwind makes the biggest difference IMO.
Those are good results, I know I ran 190 in my deceased C5 it made a mere 749/640. Here is what I know from my experience, I was into 5th gear around the 3/8 of a mile and with a little 5.7 engine I lost a tad going into 5th and did not really hit the power band again until the 3/4 mile mark.
Blower cars lose efficiency around the 1/2 mile mark, heat soak, one way around this is juice, oh I did run meth. It takes more power from a blower car to hit 200 than a N/A car plus juice, cool charge.

Does this event post the results like the other 1/2 mile events do? I just checked Wanna Go Fast and the best N/A Vettes were running no more than 145 MPH in the half. Hopefully the boosted Vettes should be pushing 150+.

Yes on the Texas Mile website they post the 1/2 and 1 mile results now, not when I did it 4 years ago. With stock size C6Z tires I was at the same diameter as stock C5s. Oh that is 155ish when manuals shift to 6th, so well into the 150s with higher HP.
I don't think they have posted all of this past events, but previous ones are there....I watched a lot of them, and stock Z06's were making mid 140's in the 1/2, and mid 160's in the mile...Stock C6's were upper 150's in the mile.
We'd love to run the Texas Mile after our cam and heads swap. Just curious what we can expect from a 750 rwhp C7? (ECS 1500 unrestricted, ECS alky meth - single nozzle running 100% M1 methanol, ARH 1 7/8" with cats, TS&P heads and cam package).
