A & A supercharging
I do have to give it to all the kits (centris) - they all look OEM (or as close as possible) once installed - especially now that everything comes in black.
Theta I’m not picking on you, but HP gained vs difficulty ratio is very favorable.
Some readers would be amazed at what some people have done on jack stands. A C7 S/C kit is from a mandatory shop install...
My car has over 2k miles with the blower and is screaming to go the track.
I work in an area where we have 4 nice lanes and no traffic for 5 miles
locals race around on weekends. So I'm able to practice the 1/4 mile. This car has really come around and shifts QUICK and will 60ft well.
beside pulls like a bitch! But hard to pass 9XX.00 for working Sundays! same day as the tracks open!
Maybe this weekend

Glad you're getting one in there finally!

Sounds fun. I might have it shipped back to me. There's a small chance I jump on a plane tomorrow and drive it back. Thanks again.
I really admire those that have the knowledge and resolve to tackle a project such as this. It most likely costs more to do it yourself in terms of personal time value and tools and gray hair, but the knowledge gained from the experience is invaluable. Good for character building as well.
Since I lack such resolve, patience and knowledge, I'll let the pros do it. For those that not only enjoy driving a SC'ed C7 but also embrace the journey of installing it as well, more power to you!

During these summer months when the weather is so nice, the time value of money changes a bit - time off can easily be put into enjoying driving the car, etc. During the winter time, time value of off-time is far less valuable (to me). In fact, when there is 12 inches of snow on the ground, you want nothing more than to fire up the heaters and go play with your toy.
Looking back, I don't regret doing it myself, as I learned quite a bit about the platform (and most of this was before I purchased all of the access I have now). I did take quite a bit (way too much, in fact) of time in doing it, as work and health problems got in the way.
The installs are so cheap on these at the moment that unless you're also paying for trucking/shipping, it would be silly not to have them installed and tuned professionally. The tuning is a BIG part of it, and not exactly for the DIYer.
That's why mine is heading down for the long trip to VR for 'everything else' I don't have time for. I just want to be enjoying my car a week from when they pick it up.
So I'm still pro-DIY, just glad to see more people getting these done to be honest.

Too many PMs, please call or email instead, thanks!
If the shop is any where near you and customer service is important to you, I'd definitely recommend sending your car there for a supercharger.
