Default VR SC690 Equipped C7 | Customer "Durability Testing"

We were extremely excited to hear that our good friend and customer Shawn (00hotvette) was going to be attending both the Hot Rod Power Tour and the WannaGOFAST 1/2 mile shootout the following week in Chicago. We knew that he liked to drive the car hard, and were looking forward to some great stories. What happened was much more than we could have ever expected, and we love it!

After making the 300 mile trip to the starting location for the Power Tour, the guys from GM Performance had a mobile dyno setup, and were begging Shawn to jump on for a pull. Of course, he happily obliged their request, and laid down an excellent 550rwhp!! This was after the heat from 300 mile trip without ever turning off the car, and no methanol! A little bit of fun was had during the trip, landing a very special win against a Hennessey Viper Venom 650R!

After a short break from the Power Tour, Shawn came back to meet us at Bult Field in Chicago, IL for the WannaGOFAST 1/2 Mile Shootout event on 6/21 and 6/22. The car and driver were nothing short of impressive, clicking off 150+ mph speeds consistently through the weekend, and finishing off with a best of 153mph!!! The car didn't flinch at the 90*+ temperatures, or hot lapping over 12 runs throughout Sunday! This C7 was truly a testament to the capabilities of a few modifications on a properly tuned LT1. We will be diving into the car again very soon for the addition of a methanol system, and then back out on the track in Clayton, GA for the September 1/2 mile event!

Love seeing this (obviously for my own self-interests), and I know Shawn drives his car like he stole it. Good test subject for torture testing!

Nice picks guys and it was a blast. Sean your going to love your beast. Meth is the way to go moving forward. I was having some fun over on the Viper Club Of America. Man they get so upset when a little old 690 HP Vette smokes a Gen4 Viper and then the rag on the upcoming Z06.

My Vengance Tuned car will be getting a work out at Road America this weekend with the Shelby Club, many thanks to Mike for dialing in the car. Super impressed with how great the car performs and drives like a factory tuned car only better.....
