Default Z51 stock pad thickness?

Does anyone know the thickness of the stock Z51 pads front and rear? Does that thickness include the backing plate or just the pad material?

I'm just trying to get a feel for percentage of pad left after VIR. I realize they wear quicker as they get thinner.

Inner Pad Wear Sensor: MECHANICAL
Inner Pad Max Thickness w/Shim: 15.6mm

Outer Wear Pad Sensor: MECHANICAL
Outer Pad Max Thickness w/Shim: 15.6mm

Replace the disc brake pads when the friction surface (3) is worn to within 0.76 mm (0.030 in) of the mounting plates.

I don't have the size of the backing plate, yet, though.

Thanks Theta, what shim are they talking about? Does this mean it's thickness including the backing plate on the pad?

Good question... not very forthcoming with that. The shim is listed as the tiny strip behind the backing plate, probably .1mm.

I spent a good amount of time looking into this, and that's all I came up with. They are D1001 FMSI pads, so you can find replacement specs, but very little about stock except when to change them...

I'd guess you're looking at 10-ish mm after the backing plate. Brembo shows 5.1mm on the plate, so if we have .1mm on the shim, 5.1mm on the plate, that leaves us with 10.4mm.
