And you never did explain how the manual transmission plugs into the ECM. I did explain the electronic limited slip but that is a part to be swapped for a race part. And this is the endeavor, identify which parts must be replaced with race parts. But there are plenty of Corvette manual transmissions, beginning with the C5, that will work with the LS7 crate engine.

Why a cup car or race car ? The car has a good percentage of weight reduction even with a full roll cage added. Of course the roll cage stiffens and strengthens the chassis. And most everything on a race car is adjustable

That's entirely untrue - that's just how you're comprehending it. Everyone else will see that, as well. I assume you still think I'm adhering to OEM spec on the new engine that I had built at 900 miles... What a laugh.

Here's the icing on the cake to me - after all of this arguing, now you're asking me (in the form of an accusation of not explaining, no less - that's rich) how or why the TCM (tied into the E92) won't work with the crate motor. I notice now that you've thought a bit more, you specify the M7 transmission - obviously you've now realized that the A6/A8, as I said, are hopelessly tied to the E92.

So, now we're back to where we started, but you've attacked me, claimed all sorts of nonsense, and are now asking for an explanation on why the Gen V platform (complete with all sorts of relatively neat yet unnecessary nannies and computer controls) doesn't play nicely when you tear the core systems out?

And then your explanation is: "But... the C5 transmission worked!!"

This is tantamount to: "Mommy, I wanted the blue balloon, but Jimmy got it. Why can't I have the blue balloon?!" Then, just like this example, when you're corrected and told "No... here's why:" you respond with something along the lines of "I hate you!". Seems a little juvenile now that we all look at it like that, eh?

Perhaps if you stop insulting people and actually listen to someone trying to help you, you'd end up learning something. I mean that sincerely - you actually can have a conversation without resorting to insults like 90% of the forum does, but so be it.

A half dozen posters that are far more knowledgeable than myself would have cut you down from the start and laughed. I've read through some of the arguments you've had with other members, and I can see that I'm not alone in befuddlement here...

But you can't build a C7 race car ? Some people would want it for the longer wheelbase, some would want it for the new bodywork, some race rules would require it such as currently in production, and so on.

Then the race car, with full roll cage, could come in at about 2700 pounds weight and up

I've posted everything in order, sequence, and logically. It's a lot easier to read posts that are well written and laid out rather than angry ramblings...

The only confusion here will be from the other members reading this. I can't deal with this anymore - your posting defies logic.

If anybody else can decipher this, please do. I give up trying to reply to constantly-edited posts.
