Default lowering, tires, alignment, stock run crap question

I have had the 3LT Z51 Stingray since october.
What is the widest tire size i can go to front and rear?

I am keeping the stock 19 front and 20 rims (stock Z51)
What tires would you recommend?

As far the TPMS, can I just go around magnetize to reset?
I have 8K on the tires, never tracked, what should I ask for the stock tires to sale them on here?

To lower the car, just take pressure of the parts around the tire and counter clock-wise on the stock bolts?

I would prefer a performance tire that's ok in the rain, but I actually drive this vette, Sounds like BS but it will not break the loose, but i hate run craps and that my stock twin turbo BMW has the same size rears...and it looks horrible from the rear.

Will it kill my Z51 tune/cornering ability if I go wider and lower?

Sorry about all the questions, this is my 7th vette, and this forum has helped with everyone.

i am running 11.5 inch rear wheel with +83 offset with a 325 tire and a 9.5 front with 275 tire. the back is tight but doable. of course you can put wider wheels/tires but the chances they will stick out is guaranteed.....how much tolerance you have for it is up to you i guess.

That all but kills your choices. If there was any way I could have kept the black Z51 wheels, I would have in an instant.

You can't safely run 315s on them (even NT01s which people often try to do on other 10" wide wheels), and the number of stock or +0 tires is extremely limited at the moment.

That's why you see so many of us having to go to new wheels first - it's certainly not that we all dislike the OE wheels. I, personally, think the Z51 black wheels are the nicest OEMs I've ever had, but they needed to go. Function > form in this case.

Did you end up dropping to 18's in the back to support the additional power you're adding or were you able to get something that will hook in a 19?

I remember when I switched to 18's on my C6 to get more rubber under the rear it was night and day.

No, I'm going to be crazy and stick with the 20/19 setup. Thankfully, they have both 888s and NT01s in those sizes, so we're good there.

I did a swap down on all of my GTOs to 17s to get a ton of rubber back there, but just hated the look. Trying to keep this one as sleeper as possible.

We may just have to dial back on the power to keep it safely planted on the road. Their other 890whp car is running great on 888s, and LMR has chimed in on that, as well. Apparently they're hooking with over 1000 on those tires. So, here's hoping!

285/35/20 toyo r888's are hooking decent for me. Stock chrome rims. I am pushing 600rwhp only though. 1.8 is best 60ft though (in the land of stock Vette not going faster than 13sec).
