At an average DA of 5000-7000. Should have posted this early. Currently I have an ECS 1500 Kit with Meth 8psi and ARH with cats. At LMR shop car put down 605/600 through an auto. So in most places I have a 10sec ride. Currently best time is a 11.67 with a passenger at 120mph (I know stock run for most) with a 1.8 60ft. Stock Vettes run 13.5 -14.0 sec out here trapping around 106-110mph. I know seat time will help, race gas and losing the 200lb passenger (race gas and losing the passenger should net me 3 tenths). I do not want to add a converter or run nitrous as I will drive the car on the street some. Should I add a head and cam or just run a 416 stroker with my current blower?
Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Before you spend 10K + on the 416 why not just pulley up the boost and run more methanol as fuel in a dual nozzle or port injected setup.

You'd be surprised at what a good drag radial would do for you if you don't have them already. My client in WI is running 10.5s with just my drag pack, Kooks LT headers, Pfadt blower kit, and tuning obv.
Actually your times are respectively pretty good for that type of DA. Any of the stock Vettes are C7's? Because if there is you are 2 seconds faster which is awfully a lot. By the way 11.67 is fast, sir
Put it on the dyno and open the restrictor until your uncorrected numbers are what is made in Houston. Then order another restrictor and you have a high and low elevation setup that makes 600rwhp.
Which meth kit is installed? If its the AlkiControl..can you post images of the mounted location for the pump ans electronics? Several of us are also getting ready for rhe same install and AlkiControl does not provide instructions taylored for the C7
Just like no kit does, and it is up to you. You mount it where you want it. Typically by the washer tank if you are using that, but if you are using a remote tank you mount it by the remote tank. Electronics can go where ever you want. Mine is two sided taped by my knees below the dash, I've seen them in the glove box, or in the center console, or behind the stereo.

Im after lessons learned from those who have actually executed install of this kit in the C7...obviously there are a number of options,
Thanks for all of the replies. I have not turned up the boost honestly cause we only have 91 octane here, it's my first boosted car, and I am not sure where I could put a bigger tank for meth if I made it meth dependent. I have only had N/A builds in the past. Car feels like its "thirsty" up top already so I think a cam would help quite a bit (honestly miss the lope too)?
As far as the meth kit it's a Snow Performance Kit. LMR did the install and I am 200rwhp above my baseline. As far as tires I like the Toyo's they hook well; I may need to upgrade width to 315's in rear.
Do I have to have a converter with a cam?
Are cars running higher boost also being driven daily at all?
Are cars running higher boost having issues?

That would be nice but there are no dynos with tuners.

C6's running 13.5-14. C7 that I know of 13.5.
Thanks 11.6 is fast. I still want the
10 sec street car.
Where do you live with no dynos? Even if it was a few hour drive it should be easy to find one.
91 octane is fine at high elevation, which is why they have it. No need for 93 when up in the mountains.
What boost was it hitting at sealevel and what boost is it seeing up there? Easiest way would be open up the restrictor so boost up there is the same as sealevel.

Live in El Paso, tx. Nearest I believe is Phoenix 6 hrs from here. 8psi at sea level. I have not logged here yet as there are no tuners here and I don't have the software to data log.
