Default Need tire advice....

New wheels require new rubber. Rim width 19x9.5 front and 20x11 rears, for a Z51. Stockers too narrow to simply switch them out. Also, would prefer an all season tire, but not mandatory. What are you guys running?

I am running r888's. Definitely not all season but I have had no issues in the rain.

The advice I was given was 265/35/r19 and 305/30/r20. That's what I'm going with on same wheel size as you're doing. Post em up when you get them! My new tires are still MSS, but obviously not run flats.

Ok, but how about brands and name of tire. I want Michelins but the AS 3 doesn't offer a 20" to go with the 265/35/19 front

This is the wheel.....

The tires I had when I had the FlowForms were 265 in the front and they just barley touched the brake duct at full lock. I trimmed 1/8" off the top edge of the plastic duct and they cleared. Also if you go study the photo shoot at the beach on the HRE website, you will see the front 265 tires have slightly flatter sidewalls then the rear. So if you can get 255 fronts, the sidewall curve would match the rears perfect. The tires on the photo shoot were Pirelli Pzeros, I don't think they are all season worthy but maybe Pirelli makes an all season? They did ride nice compared to the MSS run flats but the michelins felt better handling wise.

thanks for the info. I'll look into the Pzeros. Baffles me there aren't many other choices in the high end brands.....I suspect a year from now things will be different.

Those are beautiful on your car! I hope I get the good looks too on my Torch Red. I've always liked the paint combo of silver and red. I need to check on the PSS version now.
