Just thought I would share different tweaks I have made over my 1500 miles of ownership. I am running the Diablo 93 canned tune. I have AFM turned off. I have the throttle setting parameter at 18. I turned exhaust management on Dash to Off. This allows the car to stay in Sport, as your default drive mode. Does not revert to Touring on each start up. The car is very responsive and I like much better than stock.

In fact, makes stock settings rather unexciting.
Mine's set up about the same way, though I find throttle at 10% better for me. If you haven't adjusted the TCM settings, do it! I've bumped my partial throttle shift pressure settings up 15% and it all feels awesome..
I'm on the fence over buying one, but in the meantime I have a question. I know with the factory tune the A6 shift algorithm's in both S and Tr modes are modded.
But does the Diablo tune tweak the shift algorithm's in all 5 modes or just S and Tr?
I asked same question. Mike at diablo said canned tune will carry into all modes.

Seems to be global, but I haven't driven it enough in all modes to be sure. 15% is subtle...I'll likely bump it to the max (20%) when I drop in my AFE tune next week..
The Sport/firm program does seem a bit more responsive (in tour and sport where I have tried it). Quicker and more responsive downshifts when you lean into the throttle

When you drop in the 93 (Diablo) tune, it also gives you an option to adjust the TCM transmission tune. I selected Sport/Firm. It will walk you through the various adjustments. Do the Partial throttle shift pressure settings. You have to set the pressure for each gear, 1-2, 2-4, etc.
I haven't had any success modifying an existing tune per the manual...I had to drop my stock tune back in and start fresh when I made some changes..

The actual final shift times or how quickly it shifts at WOT is way quicker than any previous year BONE STOCK--Even quicker than an electronically enhanced tuned one
If you notice the sound if different as well---You hear a millisecond stutter of the engine rather than the way they sounded before----
Even on older LS corvettes we were taught simply adding line pressure was a bad choice on how to firm up shifts---You are asking for a failure blown seals etc-- We always tune the firmness with the "force motor current tables" However they have since removed that option on C6 and C7 So the best choice would be to lower the "sift times" somewhat or leave it be----
PS The line pressure is limited and some point no matter what you change it to anyway--Older ones was 90 PSI not sure what it is on these
