Run without TPMS sensors?

Run without TPMS sensors?
If I mount tire and wheels WITHOUT TPMS sensors, what does the car do?
Change any setting like traction or something else?
I'm sure an alert light , but does it throw a perm fault that needs to be cleared by dealer?

If you don't have any sensors in a C6, it will assume that you have 4 flat tires and will put it into a reduced power and handling mode. I would have to guess it would work pretty much the same way on a C7. Found this out racing a Z06 on extra wheels without TPM's. One ingenious solution was to put 4 TPM's into a sealed, pressurized tube and carry it in the car.

When I initially purchased my new rims, the dealer sold me the wrong sensors. I drove with a " Malfunction" alert on the DIC but nothing else. Make sure you get the right sensors that self learn.
