Anyone here using the Diablosport tuner? If so, are you satisfied with it? Can you use it to disable the AFM? I have a Z51 auto and it is driving me NUTS, with the cutting in and out with the NPP and continuous shifting at low speeds, regardless of the settings, it even does it with the sound management turned off and in the Track mode. Comments welcomed and appreciated, THANKS!
Is there a major difference between the intune and trinity other than the trinity's display functions? Can you self tune using either of them, or does that require another software package?
I think for the average casual enthusiast, the InTune is sufficient. If you want a lot more display and gauge options, go for the Trinity. There are some basic self-tweaking functions with both, but if you want complete tuning capabilities then you need the CMR software.
Use the search as there are a lot of great threads on the Diablo that will/should answer your questions. It's a great tune and leaves no trace if you revert back to the stock tune.

I assume there is no equivalent of AccessTuner Race or EcuFlash on the Vette currently?
Unfortunately that CMR software is expensive for someone that just wants to self tune. For how big the the chevy community is, it's really surprising that there is no open source turning software.

Not that I've found. Maybe HPTuners is somewhat similar to ECUFlash, except you have to buy credits? I relate the CMR software to AccessTuner Race, except you have to pay for it rather than getting it free like we were used to with Mitsubishis (so basically AccessTuner Pro). I personally am planning to use DiabLew for my custom tuning; he has the CMR software and charges very reasonable rates for remote tuning.

I have a C7 with six speed auto. Owned seven cars prior with manuals. Love the automatic. Have ported throttle body, aFe and spiral core wires. Had base Disblo, upgraded to the Diablo for aFe. Runs very well and fast. Big improvement over stock. Ran the track at Sebring last Tuesday. Another guy ran his ZO-6 with some mods on it. Only he and I were together. Have no idea what took place with the other cars behind us since we could not see ANY of them behind us after the first lap/turn one.
I did NOT know the track. Never been on it. There was no passing permitted. Had to keep the Z - 06 in front of me all the times if I wanted to live. He would pull about fifty YDS on me (only during the turns) as I really eased off on the power. WHY, twice attempted to turn the wrong direction. Had HARD TIME with the track not knowing it. As soon as I came out of the apex, I came up fast behind him. No problem doing it. Could have passed him several times. After five laps, was right behind him. Appeared to me that we were about equal at low speeds, but at high speeds the C7 appeared much faster. Noticed my water temps exactly between 220 and 320 at end of five laps. However no warnings of any kind. Used 5w30'oil and stock brakes without brake air deflectors that came with car. Tires at 30 lbs. Car handling, performance and breaking were excellent. No issues. Cars REV matching (shifting) amazing. Used auto mode, no paddles. Also track mode one. WHY, my track advisor told me not to use padfles since I did not know the track. I simply could not have asked for more out of the car. Prior car was a Grand Sport with headers, pipes, intake mods three DYNO tunes etc etc etc. This C 7 would easily have had that car for dinner in every way. By the way, I loved that car also.
