Default Remove and replace Sun Visor on C7

I purchased a sun visor with home link from GM Parts House at Carlisle last week. The tech there told me it was an easy job, but once I hot home, the easy removal of the upper windshield panel doesn't look like he described. Does anyone have a description or instructions on how to remove and replace?

It took me a couple of minutes to pop it off and replace it. Just get a trim removal tool and pop off the plastic piece attached near the headliner. After that, remove the torx screws securing the visor. You will then need to unclip the power wire. I had some issues with mine, but finally got it off.

After that just put it all back together. I think there's maybe three screws holding the whole thing together.

Thank you. I don't know what a trim removal tool is, but would a plastic putty knife work as well?

Yeah that should be fine. It's not a very flimsy piece of plastic.

to be clear before I start, the piece to remove is the small triangular plastic piece that surrounds the visor arm? Is that right? It just snaps out? Thanks for your help.

Yes. Pry it off (gently) and you get access to the screws underneath. Then slowly pull out the wires to get to the connector and from there you're on your own to get it put back in place!
