So headers, catless x, E60, and intake... and 470/475?

That's decent, I'd say in good air, with a ported TB/Intake mani and E85 - very close to 500whp might not be out of the question.

The more I see the power all-motor C7s are putting out, the harder it is for me to justify buying a C7Z06 haha.

no way a C6Z is worth it anymore. a stroker motor C7 (416 or 427) will stomp a C6Z down the drain.

and you have a MUCH nicer car around you that does pretty much everything else better.

IMO of course. i didn't own a C6Z but I did drive several and they all felt loose. never really became a fan.

Not sure if you're referring to C6Z vs C7 just for the argument of old gen vs new or not...

But I was saying C7Z06

IE, if you can make 500whp with no cam/heads, and not affect drivability - I don't see much need to spend $20-30k more on the Blower version.

yeah that's my bad. i thought you said C6Z.

there are a few reasons i would get a C7Z but it is much less compelling than the C6 vs C6Z.

not compelling enough to get one at this point for me.

I have a C6 GS now, so I don't really want a C6Z.

But I do agree that It's really hard to make a case for a C7Z over a Z51 right now. I got another month or so of bills to pay off before I'm ready to pull the trigger on a C7 of some sort... Z51 is the front runner now.
