Hi.
-If I get long tube headers that have secondary cats in the xpipe only, will it throw a check engine light? Do I have to get a tune with this config?
-If I get arh midlength headers with cats + corsa xpipe without cats, will I throw a check engine light? And will I need to get a tune for this config or can I go without tune?
Long tube headers typically have one set of cats after the collectors. These cats most of the time are high flow & will trip a SES light. As a result tuning is recommended.
Checkout the TSP header setups. You get full long tubes in polished stainless steel, 3" x pipe with or without cats starting for under $1,000!!!
We sell and have installed ARH Mid lengths without tuning and we have no issues with check engine lights at all. Long Tubes with High Flow Cats will require tuning..

I have ARH LT's and they did throw a CEL. I have also been using the Diablo InTune. The solution was to have Doug at ECS build a tune for the Diablo that fixes the CEL issue and also does a few more things. The tune remains undetectable to the dealer if I reinstall the stock tune at dealer visit times.

But your headers and CAI don't remain undetectable.... LOL
Neither will a SC when you get it!
Been running around with a CEL for about 2K miles now with ARH LT's

Long Tubes will almost always throw a CEL w/o a tune but the ARH Mid-lengths don't..

What is the tune overriding?
When you take your car to the dealer and remove the tune, the CEL will come on.
When you get your car inspected, will it detect the over ride?
I' am interested in installing the same set up as yours but concerned with my questions. Had Kooks on my C6 and they deleted the sensors with a tune, went to get the car inspected and it failed because it did not detect the sensors.
Guys, we've addressed and corrected any CEL issue with our Mid Lengths. There were only a handful. If tuning is a concern, we have you covered.
If tuning isn't a concern, we have a long tube header system that's available in 3 different sizes to suit your present or future upgrade requirements. Let us know which direction you'd like to go and we'll set you with exactly what you need. Thanks

Hi Kevin, Sunday was a bit of challenge golfing with the crosswinds, I didn't see you on the course??

Hope all is well.
Hey Steve,
Too stinking windy and cold to play Sunday. I put brakes on my Acura instead.
The car still sounds like the Gates of Hell have opened with the ARH LT's.
The Diablo or any other tuning software like EFILive and HPTuners simply sets the O2's to "Not Reported". They still work as they are supposed to but don't throw a code or CEL. I'll leave the tune in and have the car inspected at a service station instead of the dealer. For dealer visits, the stock tune goes back in and the CEL will appear. Not a big deal or warranty breaker.
