Default Antilock brake question

i know that the antilock brake system has a separate fluid area that exchanges with regular fluid when the antilocks are engaged. my question is where does this mixing occur, at the calipers, at the main brake reservoir, somewhere in between ? also any idea how much fluid is in the antilock reservoir ?
thanks

Not sure how the C7 does it but it is probably similar to C5/C6 ABS. The brake pressure modulator valve controls pressure at the calipers. If it is similar to the C5/C6 you can find the BPMV and EBCM located at the driver's side front corner of the engine block. The BPMV will have the brake lines going into it. Attached is a description of how the C6 system works. The C6 BPMV as configured can implement all of the standard ABS functions and other features like stability control, launch control, traction control and the various forms of PTM. All you need is the correct program in the EBCM.
