Default Halltech Stinger-Hybrid New Pricing

Carbon Fiber, Nomex III airbox, Nylon intake bridge. 14 RWHP/14.3lb-ft.
MORE INFORMATION AND PICS

The dyno below was done by our competition LMR. We thank them for this dyno. Unfortunately, it was done prior to our 689 cfm Stinger filter was available. We have filled orders since July with the new filter, and expect another 2-3 HP.

Installed one on a 2015, and found an easier way to modify the radiator overflow line.

Our intake has a built in velocity stack for smooth transition to the MAF sensor. The filter shown is the older 6" 589 cfm filter, the new one looks like that but 8" long.

It reaches the opening of the fender-well. Custom made for Halltech by K&N.

Default Comparison

Here is our Stinger690 filter on the left. Stock on the right:

In our initial testing, GM purchased one of our StingerCKN units with our 589cfm filter, had us send it to the Milford Proving Grounds, but did not indicate the purpose of their testing. They remain quiet. Maybe it ended up on the Z06? It was shipped during the Z06 Milford testing.

K&N used their SuperFlow SF-1020 to test our filter design. We design our own filters, K&N makes them for us and tests them first.

Interesting, thank you! For comparison, I wonder what K&N's drop-in replacement filter flows?

Enough to make 5 or 6 RWHP on the stock engine config.

The problem comes with mods that require less restriction to flow.

Our intake makes 13 RWHP on the stock engine, around 17 with headers (already tuned for the headers, but no additional tuning required), 21 with cam and heads.

LPE tested our 589 cfm filter on their engine dyno and picked up 12 HP around 5500 rpm, but it dropped off to 9.4 HP at 6600 rpm. This was the primary goal of the higher cfm filter. If you have our earlier filter, you would not likely see much of a gain with the higher flow filter.

The new filter is really ready for the C7Z06, along with a redesigned airbox. When Katech gets theirs next month, it will take us a few weeks to get the C7Z06 intake tested.

I hear from a little birdie that they are about to announce some outstanding dyno numbers soon.
