This is going out to the guys who have installed a Procharger to their Z51's. Guys with good knowledge please reply too. I'm really interested in supercharging my z51 but want the car to be as safe as possible from issues since my warranty will be voided. My car is an every day driver but I do take it to the track every few months. This is my first vette so please forgive me. For those who have the Procharger, have you ran into any cons? Is there any part (Engine, rear end, drivetrain) that won't be able to hold 7psi of boost or need to be upgraded to prevent future problems. Are the internals going to hold up? Is there any preventive measures I should take or is this blower really going to be a bolt on and play?
Thanks
FYI I know Edelbrock has a system with warranty but 8-9k is way out my budget.
I have a procharger on my z51 m7 with headers and catted x pipe the car runs good it does not over heat and if you keep it under 3000 rpm you cant tel its boosted,my wife drives the car all the time and likes it.i dont beat on it from a standing start it wont hook up and it is hard on the drivetrain,if you roll into the throttle in second it will hook up good but it will break loose at higher rpm,3rd you can lay into it but it will spin at high speed in cold weather, you will have to controll your right foot.my car dynoed at 615 at the wheels with the standard kit and tune. Get the horizontal intercooler so it does not block the radiator.
I've been doing a lot of research on supercharging my '15 z51. The consensus is to purchase an ECS kit, as it is a direct bolt in, and has great performance, with upgrading potential, as well as a great price. You can always add an exhaust and alky kit to make even more power. This will probably be the route that I go, but my plan is to put around 10k miles on the car prior to doing any upgrades as to ensure that there won't be any major drive train issues that would be covered under my warranty. If I boost the car and it blows that my fault, but if something major is going to fail it should fail within the first 10k miles, so we shall see.
As far as longevity I've seen multiple boosted c7s well over 700hp on stock drive train, so it should be fine, as long as you do it right.

WOW awesome HP. Are you running the tune that Procharger includes? Or did you customize it? Also what brand headers and x-pipes did you go with? Thats also in the future. Thanks for the feedback also.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I like the waiting for 10k miles idea. Which works for me because I'm at 6500. Give me enough time to do my research.
So far as I know... only two with SC that have spun main bearings but as I understand they were launching the cars at the strip. Anyone hear of any other weak points on the LT-1?
I just ordered a Procharger base kit for 2015 Z51 M7, what is a realistic Rear wheel HP/TQ number I should see. Nothing else has been added to the car and I'll be using the tune coming with the kit? I realize that a thousand things can change the results (weather, altitude, dyno, etc). I'd just like to get a ball park idea. Thanks
Hey guys, post on the below thread if you have a dyno sheet.
Also Youtube sound clips would be good. I'd love to hear the ARH or Kooks with Xpipe inside and outside the car.
Just ordered my Procharger from Weapon X with the D1SC head & helical gears for my 2015 Z51. Installed LT headers & x-pipe w/ no cats earlier this week. Sound is INCREDIBLE!). Will also be adding dual E2 catch cans, Taylor wires & NGK 6510 plugs.
