I really hated the oem front grill on the c7. Thank you GM for the z06.

Awesome picture, now I have a good idea of what mine will look like. I'm on the list to get one, hope I hear something soon.

Same here.. How long did it take you to remove the original and swap it out for your new Z06 grill?

Took us about 1hr to remove the front bumper and reinstall. When you first get the grill it looks like it won't fit. I highly recommend removing the bumper as the clips that hold the grill could be difficult to clip of. But it could b done with out removing.

I was told Friday I have 80 grilles inbound on a pallet coming from GM. If that is so, we will start blowing through the list at a high rate.

Woohoo! If that's the case, I will keep my fingers crossed that I am in the top 80 on your list Gene!

Unfortunately in my town the older crow owns all the c7 . The owners are 80+s and they love the bling. But the c7 should have came this way. Name: image-1581978034.jpg

Can't wait to get mine, Gene.

A great visual upgrade.

This grille is so much better than the original Stingray grille that it's ridiculous. It's almost like they were correcting a mistake or something.

Did you have any difficulty with the "clips" around the headlights. I keep reading about that but I can't picture it nor are there any good pics of the offending clips.

Btw is this the grill without the additional brake cooling ducts?

You can't really see the clips next to the headlights. I knew I had to pull straight up to get it off though. After my install, I read that if you tip the nose up and get under you can try to access the tabs that are holding it in place to get an easier release.

We did not have any problems removing the front clips around the head lamps. We use a swivel to remove the bolts. U will need to push up on the bumper in oder to get to them.

Is there any way to photograph this? I still can't quite picture it. What style of clips are hidden near the headlights?

I couldn't agree more that the "retainer" ring looks like someone wearing a retainer. Maybe GM will do away with it in 2016 or make the Z06 grille an option when ordering a 2016.

Doesn't the radiator shroud behind the grille keep you from removing the grille without removing the bumper cover?

Are you afraid of any rocks or debris to kick up in the open spaces at the corners?? I see some people put mesh screens behind there.
