Dry sump oil drain
I have a Z28 and getting ready to change oil. Do we just drain out of the oil pan? Then all oil in tank will drain?

There are two drain plugs on the oil pan, The one on the side of the pan just in front of the oil filter drains the sump(~1 qt) and the plug at the front of the sump drains the remote oil reservoir(~9.5 qts).

Just wondering why you'd post a question regarding a Camaro on a Corvette forum?

Simple. It's the same dry sump. I also have a Hellcat and Z06 coming on order.
I also got a answer also on here.

Yea just pull both plugs and the filter, let it all ooze out for awhile.
Put the plugs back in, filter, and refill.
